“A lot of people are conditioned to [think] like, ‘I’m going to go and do this whole course,’” says John Elliott, security advisor and cybersecurity payments risk and privacy specialist. “But I can find a module or a clip that just tells me the thing I’d like to learn. What is a Microsoft Account?

A user ID that may be used to sign in to a range of different devices is a Microsoft account. These include Xbox Series X consoles, Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops, Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) subscriptions, Skype, OneDrive, and Bing, among other things. Making it doesn’t cost anything. From virtually anywhere, you may use it to log in to any of these services and gadgets.

How do I connect a new computer to my Microsoft account?

During the initial setup process, you will need to link your current Microsoft account to the new computer in order to use it on the new device. All of your devices’ settings and data will be synchronized once the connection is established.
